Editing Posts and Pages

Since 2018, WordPress Posts and Pages are edited using a tool called the Gutenberg editor, also referred to as the Block Editor. While this tool is far more powerful than the Classic Editor (used in the Events plugin), it also hides a lot of it’s functionality. While this makes for a clean interface, it’s a tradeoff, as it requires you to know what’s available so you can look for the control that allows you to do what you want to do.

There are many online tutorials available for Gutenberg, and rather than attempt to reinvent the wheel, I will post a few links here to videos and websites that can help you learn the interface.
